Muscle Management® for foot pain...
self help for the 'muscular' component.

A public workshop focusing on foot problems and self help techniques to reduce pain and restore pain free movement.
When your body is sending you the pain message, often times muscle issues (spasm, adhesion, distortion) are a contributing influence.
This is a message you can easily respond to with some intelligent, educated, Muscle Management®.

Your feet experience a variety of everyday stresses just from walking and carrying your body. Add to that any athletics and exercise and it is a wonder we don't have more foot problems, though often times many of us suffer needlessly from these daily ‘repetitive’ stresses.
Your body often tells you it has had enough, it’s time to do something, and this message is often sent via the recognized signal from your feet in the form of ‘pain’.
What are your choices to correct the problem and reduce the pain signal?
Often time the offered remedies include toe braces, expensive orthotics, and surgery.
The question is do these ‘remedies’ go to the root of the problem?
Ask yourself what's creating and causing your pain? Your answers probably do not include lack of the above mentioned remedies.
That’s what this evening workshop/class is all about, self managing of the muscular components often contributing to foot pain. The techniques to be shown have proven themselves to be more than worth the short amount of time required to do them.
The information is specifically targeted at reducing bunion pain and has proven itself to also aid a number of other foot problems, including Plantar Fasciitis.
Class is designed for the audio, visual, and tactile learner and will include:
- A short take-home handout for reference.
- Discussion of the muscular components involved so you understand what you are working with (don’t worry; it is not a long tedious lecture on Anatomy and Physiology!).
- A PowerPoint visual of the muscles in the region to better enable you to see what you are doing.
- Self help techniques to reduce pain and restore function.
At some time in the not too distant future this information will be available here on www.musclemanagement.com
Be sure to sign up for the email list and we will send you the link. We will also be interested in your responses to using this information and a comment section will be posted.
The class will be videoed and we ask that you bring in the signed release form that is downloadable:
here as a word doc.
here as a pdf.
Also available at the class.

Chances
are you came here searching for information, for alternatives and
answers about pain...yours, your family member, your friends, or
maybe even a clients. We are here to offer information about the
muscular component 'participating' in that pain...and that is the
focus of 'Muscle Management®', relieving pain and restoring function
by focusing precision therapy on the muscles.
We
offer unique insight's into the human body's natural built-in maintenance,
recovery and health management abilities with respect to it's
largest and most often under-appreciated system…The Muscles.
"Disease
does not occur unexpectedly. It
is the result of constant violation of Nature's laws, spreading
and accumulation of such violations transpire suddenly in the form
of a disease....but it only seems sudden." Hippocrates
Each and every day we 'live and work' within an
incredibly wonderful example of engineering, strength, and efficient
design... Our own body!! This incredible "machine" is
greatly influenced by a very commonsense organization of ropes,
pulleys, and levers… the muscles, tendons, and skeleton. Muscle
Management® is about managing all of the above by means of respecting
and responding to the vital role muscles play in our bodies overall
well-being.
Our
intention is to encourage, promote, and maintain healthy states
of balance and ease through recognizing, respecting and responding
to the important role the body's muscles play in overall well being.
Muscular health can often be a primary contributing factor in many
muscular/skeletal situations.
Muscle movement constantly shapes the quality of our daily lives.
Problems with this system can often be a primary contributing factor
to situations where we are more tense, irritable, fatigued, less
active... and in PAIN!!!. Negative influences can include everyday
pressures and stresses, repetitive motions, mismanaged injuries
(especially in athletes), whiplash trauma and conditions like fibromyalgia
or arthritis which often produce muscular or "soft tissue"
tension and pain.
According to JAMA, musculoskeletal conditions account for more disability and more costs to the US health care system than any other condition.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety
and Health Administration (OSHA), repetitive strain injuries are
the nation's most common and costly occupational health problem,
affecting hundreds of thousands of American workers, and costing
more than $20 billion a year in workers compensation. Maybe with
a bit more understanding, this figure won't get much more out of
control.
Our
Self Help section can be useful
for those looking to take an active role in their own Muscle Management.
We are scheduling classes
throughout the country. We have a Sponsorship
Program for individuals interested in bringing this information
to their area and an Associate Program
for accredited schools interested in bringing classes to their region.
